The long-awaited release follows an important year for Demi Lovato. After confronting personal issues head on, Lovato made the proactive decision to seek treatment and regain focus on her music career. Additionally, Lovato is currently partnering with the JED Foundation and Seventeen magazine on the “Love is Louder Than the Pressure to Be Perfect” campaign, addressing the various pressures many young people face. She has also joined Seventeen as a contributing editor, submitting regular pieces advising readers to “stay strong” and sharing strategies for maintaining a positive outlook.
Lovato’s forthcoming album, to be released this fall, is the long-awaited follow-up to the # 1 debut of 2009’s Here We Go Again and the #2 debut of 2008’s Don’t Forget.
