Koenigsegg is aiming to challenge the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport for the title of world's fastest car with its new 1,115 horsepower Agera R. Unveiled today at the Geneva Auto Show, the mid-engine Agera R offers 205 more horsepower than the standard Agera. Believe us, by most measures the recently introduced Agera is already plenty fast.
Powered by a 910-bhp twin-turbocharged V-8 engine developed and built by Koenigsegg, the standard Agera has a top speed of approximately 245 mph. To better the almighty Bugatti Veyron, the Agera R will need to surpass 268 mph.
